Eurex Clearing
Dear Clearing Member,
With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing wants to draw your attention to additional updates regarding the C7 SCS Release 1.0 Simulation as well as the start of Production of C7 SCS Release 1.0 on 27 September 2021.
Learn now more about C7 SCS Release 1.0 on our dedicated initiative page under the following link: Support > Initiatives & Releases > C7 SCS Releases > C7 SCS Release 1.0. System documentation, circulars, timeline and much more information will be available there for you.
1. Settlement Account Setup Sheet – Setup available for Production
As announced in a previous Newsflash on 2 July 2021, the Settlement Account Setup Sheet is now available and applicable for both Simulation as well as Production. The Settlement Account Setup Sheet can be found on the respective Initiatives Page under Support > Initiatives & Releases > C7 SCS Releases > System documentation > Functional Manuals > C7 SCS Application for Settlement Account Setup / Change / Delete - Production and Simulation (XLSX).
Clearing Members whishing to have a setup deviating from “Default” (where Processing Model is “Netting” and Release Method is “released”), valid for the launch of Production on 27 September 2021, will have to fill out the Settlement Account Setup Sheet and provide it to their respective Key Account Manager until 27 August 2021. Any subsequent changes to the Settlement Account Setup sheet made at a later point in time cannot be guaranteed to be reflected right with the start of Production.
2. Delayed billing reports
Billing reports that were supposed to be available in Simulation environment as of 15 July 2021 will be delayed. CB320 (Daily Clearing Fees) and CB325 (Daily Service Fees) will be provided to Members in Simulation on 28 July 2021. CB225 (Daily Eurex Fines) will be provided to Members in Simulation on 4 August 2021.
3. ISIN list – Update
The list of tradable instruments as part of C7 SCS 1.0 Simulation has been updated. The changes reflect the fact that old ISINs in Corporate Action (CA) events will have to be deleted for a limited period of time (20 business days). The reason is a static data and ISIN set-up problem in the C7 SCS Simulation environment.
Thus, two new columns have been added. In one column, the deletion (payment date of the event) is stated and in the other column, the date of the ISIN’s re-availability in Simulation environment is stated. The updated ISIN list can be found on the Initiatives Page under Support > Initiatives & Releases > C7 SCS Releases > System Documentation > Functional Manuals > Eurex Clearing - C7 SCS Member Simulation Guide – Attachment with Focus Day description and ISIN list (XLSX).
This limitation has also been published within the List of Known Limitations on the C7 SCS Release 1.0 Initiative Page under: Support > Initiatives & Releases > C7 SCS Releases > System Documentation > Functional Manuals > List of Known Limitations for C7-SCS 1.0 Member Simulation.
