Member Reference Data Frozen Zone
Member reference data migration from Securities CCP to Securities Clearing Service (C7 SCS) is a key aspect of the C7 SCS Release 1.0 launch. Therefore, a three-week Frozen Zone for Member Reference Data is required for C7 SCS production launch on 27 September 2021. It will start two weeks before production launch and will continue until the end of the first production week.
Frozen Zone: 13 September 2021 - 1 October 2021
The Frozen Zone is applicable to Member setup with regards to new settlement accounts (or modification of the existing ones), cash accounts and product assignments for all Eurex, FWB and Repo Members, as well as general set-up of new Members for the mentioned markets and clearer change.
Set up of additional A-accounts and funds for Eurex Participants is possible unless there are changes to cash or settlement accounts. For OTC Members there is no impact.
The Frozen Zone will ensure reference data consistency in all systems (Securities CCP and C7 SCS) during and right after the migration. Reference data consistency is a prerequisite to avoid any trade processing issues post-launch in C7 SCS, due to Member reference data. A stable reference data will also benefit Members for their production preparation and successful migration.
