Eurex Clearing
Dear Client,
The C7 SCS Release 3.0 planned for November 2023 will introduce improvements in the processing of Eurex deliveries implementing Functional Shaping for high volume deliveries and ease the propagation of the Italian Tax Identification number (TIN) on delivery instructions resulting from Eurex derivative business, especially for non-disclosed customers holding position accounts in the C7 clearing system.
As preparatory steps for the introduction of C7 SCS Release 3.0, Eurex Clearing wants to give Clearing Members the opportunity to perform test scenarios also for bond deliveries.
Currently the standard simulation schedule offers bond expirations as quarterly expiration only (i.e. SEP23).
To offer Members further testing opportunity, Eurex Clearing will add additional fixed income product expirations in October and November 2023 for dedicated products traded via T7/Eurex platform and cleared in the C7 system.
Based on series enabled in the simulation environments of T7/Eurex and C7, it will be possible to build up positions, which will be processed by the C7 SCS simulation and are part of its scope testing.
Please see below the additional series information for the Eurex products FBTM, FBTS and FBGX with exceptional additional expirations in October and November 2023, where FBTM, FBTS and FBGX can be used for testing of functional shaping and FBTM, FBTS also for test scenarios with Italian TINs.

Eurex Clearing suggests that participants make sure to use a suitable simulation setup in the T7/Eurex trading simulation to be able to build the relevant positions in series used to test the C7 SCS release.
