With this Newsflash, Eurex Clearing wants to draw your attention to the publication in the context of the introduction of Eurex Nordic Equity Options.
The Eurex Nordic Equity Options initiative enables clients to use the possibility of physical settlement resulting from trading in equity options denominated in the currencies
Action required:
Customers willing to use the products that will be introduced as part of the initiative need to adapt their setup starting with the assignment of the new product capacities on Eurex C7, providing cash and settlement accounts for margin and settlement reasons and ensuring sufficient holdings in stocks on the settlement account (possible realignment between the Home CSD and the dedicated settlement account for the Eurex Nordic Equity Options initiative).
With the launch of the Eurex Nordic Equity Options initiative, additional information on currency NOK will be provided in C7 SCS reports. Therefore, checking and updating of report definitions is recommended for clients interested in the Eurex Nordic Equity Options initiative.
