Eurex Clearing
With this Newsflash, we would like to inform you that the implementation of limitations with respect to specific securities collateral provided to Eurex Clearing AG (Eurex Clearing) via title transfer will be postponed.
Introduction had initially been announced with Eurex Clearing Circular 009/25: Amendments to the Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG - Consultation.
The implementation date will be postponed from 1 April 2025 to 1 May 2025.
In response to the requests Eurex Clearing received from its Clearing Members, Eurex Clearing has decided to delay the implementation date to give the affected Clearing Members more time to implement the necessary documentation and process changes to ensure compliance.
Clearing Members are advised to verify the eligibility of the ISINs held on the relevant title transfer securities accounts by using the dedicated file that is available in the public area of the Common Report Engine and on Eurex Clearing's website www.eurex.com/ec-en/ accessible via the following path:
Services > Risk parameters > General parameters.
To ensure there are no breaches during the grace period, Clearing Members are requested to monitor their holdings on title transfer securities accounts and make sure that non-eligible ISINs are substituted prior to the applicable corporate action event that will occur in April 2025.
