Eurex Clearing
1. Introduction
Following Eurex Clearing Circular 037/23 announcing the production launch of C7 Release 10.0, Eurex Clearing would like to make Clearing Members aware that, based on market demand, the following change will be excluded from this Release. Therewith, the current settings remain valid in the C7 GUI.
C7 Release 10.0 Release Notes have been updated to exclude this change on our dedicated initiative page on the Eurex Clearing website www.eurex.com/ec-en/ under the following link:

As already communicated, please be reminded of the launch dates of the Release:
Simulation start: 12 September 2023
Production start: 20 November 2023
2. Required action
Clearing Members need to be aware of this change in the scope. The “ITM per contract” change impacting C7 GUI will not take place with C7 Release 10.0. No action is required from Clearing Members.
3. Details of the initiative
C7 Release 10.0 Initial Release Notes communicated the plan to change the settings of the “ITM per contract” amounts (how much in the money an option is by) shown on the “Exercise Overview” window from 3 decimal places to 5 decimal places. This change will no longer take place and the “ITM per contract” amount will continue to display 3 decimal places in C7 GUI as it currently does.
Please note that the new rounding rules for cash flows will go ahead as planned.
Unless the context requires otherwise, terms used and not otherwise defined in this circular shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Clearing Conditions or FCM Clearing Conditions of Eurex Clearing AG, as applicable.
