The annual general meeting of the company Elan Corporation PLCdecided to spin off the Discovery Science and Prothena Corporation PLC activities, which will be admitted to trading at NASDAQ Global Market under the new name of Prothena Corporation PLC.
Due date of the spin-off will be 21 December 2012.
The circular contains a description of the adjustment procedure for the Eurex option series (DRX) and the Eurex stock futures contract (DRXF) on shares of Elan Corporation PLC.
Please note: Currently, there is no open interest in the products listed above. Adjustment according to the procedure described in this circular will only take place if there is open interest after the last cum trading day. Otherwise, no changes will be made.
