Eurex Deutschland offers foreign security futures products (FSFPs) eligible under U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) rules (eligible FSFPs) for trading by eligible U.S. customers (eligible U.S. customers) with effect as of 1 January 2022.
Eurex participants that trade Eurex foreign security futures products for US accounts must be in compliance with this SEC Order and the Commodity Exchange Act as detailed in Eurex Circular 105/21.
Eligible FSFP List
With effect from Jan 1, 2024 Eurex has made the decision to cease publication of its eligible FSFP list on its website and is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with FIA Tech regarding the provision of a solution for the monitoring of eligible FSFPs for continued compliance with the 2009 SEC Order’s primary trading market test.
Under this agreement, Eurex customers and prospective customers will be entitled to receive from Eurex a once-per-calendar-year list of eligible Eurex FSFPs, which will be derived from FIA Tech’s eligibility metrics.
Please refer to Eurex Circular 114/23 for more details.
