Eurex/EEX-Cooperation: Introduction of Gas Futures und new Emission Futures

The European Energy Exchange AG (EEX) and Eurex Frankfurt AG will extend the product scope within their existing cooperation.

Effective April 3, 2012, Eurex will extend the cooperation with NCG and Gaspool Gas Futures traded at the EEX with monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual maturity cycles.

In addition to the gas futures, the cooperation with the EEX will also be extended by new emission futures on EU Aviation Allowances (EUAAs) and Emission Reduction Units (ERUs), which will start trading on April 30, 2012.
