Eurex Readiness Newsflash | Eurex Clearing C7 Release 11.0 changes relevant for Trading Participants

Dear customer,

With this newsflash, Eurex reminds you regarding the C7 Release 11.0 changes that might impact Trading Participants as well. The planned changes for ARP: E-mail notification in case of level 3 breaches and C7 GUI User Account Clean up will become effective from 18 November 2024.

A. ARP: E-mail notification in case of level 3 breaches

C7 ARP Members can choose to receive e-mail notifications in addition to the current GUI pop-up and FIXML message. Please note that the e-mail service will not be considered as a legally binding form of communication.

Due to data protection rules governing the C7 service, only generic mailbox addresses will be permitted, no personal e-mail addresses.

If you would like to opt in for this service, you can contact your Key Account Manager or send an e-mail to client.services@eurex.com.

The notification e-mail will include the following details:

  • Type of breach (soft/hard)
  • Timestamp of the breach
  • Maintenance Member ID
  • Affected Member ID

B. C7 GUI User Account Clean up

All C7 GUI accounts that have not been used for more than two years in C7 GUI will be deleted, with the exception of the following:

  • Users listed in the “Outsourcing Relationship Overview.”
  • Users flagged as “Initial User”
  • Users created within the last two years but have not been active.

Members with admin users assigned to the 'Service Administrator' role and the 'A001INQ Internal User Inquire' privilege are able to view all users in the 'User Entitlement Maintenance' window.

Action Required:

  • Members should review their C7 GUI user accounts and ensure that active accounts are used regularly.
  • Administrators may need to delete outdated accounts before the effective date.

If you have questions or comments, please send an e-mail to client.services@eurex.com.

Kind regards,

Your Client Services Team
