Effective April 6, 2009, CREATION accounts (6xxxx) held at Clearstream Banking Frankfurt were included in Straight-through-Processing of the Collateral Engine.
As a supplement to the information contained in Eurex Clearing circulars 005/09 and 012/09 we would like to ask our Members to transfer instructions for the pledging of collateral made via SWIFT or Creation Direct to CBF with code “OWNI” in field 22F only. If this is not done, timely consideration of the booked collateral cannot be guaranteed (22F:SETR//OWNI).
For bookings entered directly via Creation Online, please use transaction type “Internal Own Account Transfer“.
Also please note that for openings of new collateral accounts (Margin, Clearing Fund or Company Capital) Eurex Clearing AG needs to be informed beforehand about all relevant account information, in order to be able to enter the account information in the Collateral Engine and thereby guarantee Straight-through- Processing of bookings and withdrawals via these accounts.
Please consider this accordingly within your internal processes.
