Pohjola Bank plc: Takeover offer of OP-Pohjola Group Central Cooperative to the shareholders of Pohjola Bank plc

On 6 February 2014, the OP-Pohjola Group Central Cooperative announced that it will submit a takeover offer in cash to the shareholders of Pohjola Bank plc. Publication of the offer took place on 21 February 2014. The offer period takes place from 24 February 2014 until 1 April 2014. For further information regarding this transaction, please refer to the website of the company at www.op.fi. Accordingly, shareholders of Pohjola Bank plc shall receive EUR 16.80 in cash for each share they hold.

This circular describes the potential effects this transaction will have on the existing Eurex Single Stock Futures contract (OKBF) on shares of Pohjola Bank plc.
