Dear Eurex Participant,
With this Newsflash, we would like to remind you that the Simulation for the Regulatory Reporting Solution (RRS Release 1.1) historical data clean-up (one-off effort) will start on 4 October 2022.
The focus Simulation phase will run from 4 October until 14 October 2022. Extracts for simulation (starting with trade date 28 March 2022) with historical transaction reporting errors or omissions will be provided via the Common Report Engine (CRE) depending on the availability of Trading Participant’s simulation data. All transaction reports per Trading Participant will be provided at once (one file per error type and venue).
In Production, the actual transaction extracts that need to be corrected will be provided via the CRE on 1 November 2022.
The correction of historic transaction reports, as announced in Eurex Circular 065/22 and Eurex Exchange Readiness Newsflash from 22 August 2022, will be addressed in two waves:
Wave 1 RRS Clean-up:
Extracts with historical transaction reporting errors or omissions (starting with trade date 28 March 2022) to be enriched/corrected by the Trading Participant. Trading Participants shall make enrichments/corrections until Friday, 3 February 2023. Production start is 1 November 2022, as stated above.
Wave 2 RRH Clean-up:
Extracts with historical transaction reporting errors or omissions (2018 until trade date 25 March 2022) to be enriched/corrected by the Trading Participant in 2023.
Further information and timeline for Wave 2 will be provided at a later stage.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.
Please find further information about incident handling in the Emergency Playbook published on the Eurex webpage under Support --> Emergencies and safeguards. Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message.
We strongly recommend not to take any decisions based on the indications in the market status window but to always check the production news board for comprehensive information on an incident.
