With the go-live of the T7 Release 13.1 simulation on 31 March 2025 and production on 19 May 2025, a new public key for ETI password encryption will be created. This key will have sequence number 3, making the key with sequence number 1 obsolete.
To ensure a smooth transition to T7 Release 13.1, we strongly recommend migrating to the key with sequence number 2 immediately. A logon with the key with sequence number 1 will no longer be possible once the key with sequence number 3 is created.
Password encryption is only required within the Equinix co-location facility for the production environment. In the simulation environment, ETI LF sessions, that are not making use of the payload encryption connectivity option, must use password encryption and are therefore also affected by the introduction of the new public key. The encryption must be done using Deutsche Börse AG’s public RSA key. The latest public RSA key can be downloaded from the ETI documentation website or obtained from ETI’s session response message.
All Trading Participants are advised to use the latest public key sent with the session response for ETI password encryption at any time.
Please refer to the ETI Manual (chapter 3.3.) and the N7 Network Access Guide for more details, available on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following paths:
Support > Initiatives & Releases > T7 Release 13.1 > System Documentation > Trading Interfaces
