1.    Introduction

With effect from 24 June 2024, the Management Board of Eurex Deutschland took the following decisions:

  • STOXX® Europe 600 Index Options (OXXP): Introduction of six contracts with a weekly term and three contracts with a month-end term
  • The Annexes to the Contract Specifications for Futures contracts and Options contracts at Eurex Deutschland will be amended as shown in Attachment 1.

A Liquidity Provider scheme for Weekly Options in OXXP will be offered.

Production start: 24 June 2024

2. Required action 

Trading Participants should adapt their trading and clearing systems to the new additional monthly and month-end expirations.

3. Details of the initiative 

Due to the increased demand and liquidity in STOXX® Europe 600 Index Options (OXXP), up to six weekly contracts and three month-end contracts will be listed. Expiration day for the weekly options is Friday. 

For the new terms, a Liquidity Provider Scheme will be offered (see Attachment 2).
