Eurex Circular 096/24 Derivatives on Cryptocurrencies: Adjustment of the Liquidity Provider scheme

1.    Introduction

The Executive Board of Eurex Frankfurt AG decided, with effect from 16 September 2024, to amend the Product Specific Supplement “Equity Index 69 – Futures and Options on FTSE Crypto Index” according to the Attachment.

2.    Required action

There is no required action for the Trading Participants.

3.    Details of the initiative

Size and spread requirements for options on FTSE Bitcoin and Ethereum Index (Product IDs: OBTU/OBTE and OETU/OETE) will be amended according to the Attachment, with effect from 16 September 2024.

Size and spread requirements for futures on FTSE Bitcoin Index (Product IDs: FBTU/FBTE) will be amended according to the Attachment, with effect from 14 October 2024.

The amendments will be deemed to have been approved if Liquidity Provider does not lodge objections with Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Clearing AG within two (2) weeks of notification of the amendment by means of this circular pursuant to Number 4 (2) of the Liquidity Provider Agreement.
