Eurex invites you to attend the ESG Index Derivatives Seminar as part of the BVI Facts, Funds and Food event series in Frankfurt on 4 March 2025.

An increasing number of investors around the globe are seeking support in integrating ESG aspects into their portfolios. Derivatives based on ESG benchmarks provide a listed solution: they help align capital investments with environmental, social, and governance risks.

Attend this event and learn more about customer requirements, practical applications and regulatory developments. The speakers will discuss:

  • Index methodologies used (e.g., minimum exclusions and ESG integration approaches)
  • Which of the existing derivatives on ESG indexes have been established so far, pending index adjustments after consultations based on ESMA guidelines for sustainability-related fund names (for example, ESG, PAB & CTB)
  • Current approaches and latest developments: Biodiversity and net-zero indexes

After the presentation, attendees can directly engage with Eurex and STOXX® experts on-site and exchange ideas with industry peers.

Agenda:

12:00 - 13:00   Presentation: ESG indexes in focus: exchange-traded derivatives, current developments and prospects

Speakers:

  • Christine Heyde - Vice President, Equity & Index Product Design, Eurex
  • Achim Karle - Senior Associate Vice President, Equity & Index Sales EMEA, Eurex
  • Magdalena Kuper - Head of Sustainability, BVI
  • Veronika Kylburg - Director, Global Investable Benchmarks DAX, STOXX®
