Enforcement of Subnet Validation on Order Entry Switches in the Equinix Co-Lo 2.0 Facility

In its network usage guidelines (Network Access Guide, Chapter 12.1.2), Eurex forbids the usage of the same source IP addresses on multiple lines and participants must only use the subnets assigned to the respective line.

To ensure compliance with these guidelines, Eurex will switch from passive monitoring to a subnet validation on the switch and activate it on its order entry switches in the Equinix Co-Lo 2.0 facility as follows:

01.02.2025 Side A - EUREX

15.02.2025 Side B - EUREX

Following the activation of subnet validation, participants must ensure that their correct IP address is used when sending messages to the Exchange. Failure to do so will result in the rejection of messages.
