Eurex Readiness Newsflash | MiFID II/MiFIR order flagging requirements: Enhancement of the Short Code and Algo ID Upload GUI

Dear customer,

An enhancement to the Graphical User Interface (GUI) for the submission of Short Codes and Algo IDs will be introduced on 14 June 2024.

In addition to the prevailing file upload, an eForm will be introduced to allow Trading Participants to manually register and manage Short Codes and Algo IDs. The eForm is available for data submission in simulation and production.

Trading Participants will find the new eForm in the GUI as an optional data submission choice. The GUI automatically creates CSV upload files with the manual entries of the eForm and transfers these to the Common Upload Engine (CUE). The CUE pre-validation feedback will be immediately returned in the regular manner as for file uploads.

Please note that the GUI transfers the files to CUE. Hence, Trading Participants are obliged to set up a CUE user as technical pre-requisite to use eForm. In case Trading Participants already have a CUE user there is no need for action.

Please find more details on the CRE set-up in the “Common Report & Upload Engine User Guide”, available on the Eurex website www.eurex.com under the following path:

Support > Initiatives & Releases > T7 Release 12.1 > Reports

or contact your Technical Key Account Manager.

Trading Participants using the eForm will benefit from the convenient re-utilization of the existing login and user permission rights, as well as the comprehensive CUE pre-validation tool and its feedback. Trading Participants can use the CUE SFTP and the upload GUI for Short Code and Algo ID and eForm solution and benefit from a streamlined validation tool response.

A dedicated user manual is provided on the Eurex website under the following path:
