Equity Index Derivatives: Change in Liquidity Provider Programs for Futures on STOXX® Semiconductor 30 Index and for Futures on FTSE® All World Index

Eurex Circular 064/24 Equity Index Derivatives: Change in Liquidity Provider Programs for Futures on STOXX® Semiconductor 30 Index and for Futures on FTSE® All World Index

1.   Introduction

The Executive Boards of Eurex Frankfurt AG and Eurex Clearing AG decided the following with effect from 1 July 2024:

  • to amend the Liquidity Provider Program for Futures on the STOXX® Semiconductor 30 Index and the Product Specific Supplement (hereinafter “PSS”) “Equity Index 75 – Futures on STOXX® Semiconductor 30 Index” according to Attachment 1 and
  • to amend the Liquidity Provider Program for Futures on the FTSE® All World Index and the PSS “Equity Index 79 – Futures on FTSE All World Index” according to Attachment 2.

2.   Required action

Liquidity Providers should adapt their quotation behavior accordingly.

3.   Details of the initiative

For the Futures on STOXX® Semiconductor 30 Index, the existing Additional Supporter Incentive for Liquidity Providers will be extended until the end of the year 2024.

For the Futures on the FTSE® All World Index, a revenue sharing program will be added.

Both PSS will be amended with effect from 1 July 2024, as shown in the Attachments. The amendments will be deemed to have been approved if Liquidity Provider do not lodge objections with Eurex Frankfurt and Eurex Clearing within two (2) weeks after publication of this circular pursuant to Number 4 (2) of the Liquidity Provider Agreement.
