일반청산회원(GCM) 혹은 직접청산회원(DCM)만이 청산 과정에 직접 참여할 수 있습니다. 일반청산회원(GCM) 혹은 직접청산회원(DCM)으로서 청산에 참여하는 것은 적격 라이센스를 보유해야만 가능하며, 라이센스 보유를 위하여는 특정 요건을 충족하여야 합니다.
일반청산회원(GCM)은 해당 기관 및 고객의 거래를 직접 청산할 수 있으며, 청산 라이센스를 보유하지 않은 트레이딩 참여자(비청산회원)의 거래를 대신 청산할 수 있습니다. 직접청산회원(DCM)은 해당 기관 및 고객, 그리고 100% 소유관계를 가진 관계회사인 거래소 참여자의 거래만을 청산할 수 있습니다. 오직 일반청산회원(GCM) 또는 직접청산회원(DCM), 즉 청산 회원만이 Eurex Clearing AG의 거래 상대방(counterparty)이 될 수 있습니다.
기관들은 아래의 청산 라이센스를 하나 이상 신청할 수 있습니다.
EU 혹은 스위스 내에 위치하며 증권 및 현금의 형태로 커스터디 사업, 여신 업무 및 증거금 수신에 관한 승인을 받은 금융 기관은 Eurex Clearing AG의 청산 라이센스를 신청할 수 있습니다.
청산 회원들은 Eurex Clearing AG의 최소 증거금 요건을 준수하고, 청산 펀드에 이를 납부하여야 합니다. 또한 적절한 청산 및 결제 계좌와 충분한 백오피스 설비가 요구됩니다.
