半導體行業作為新的投資主題
半導體在通訊技術和國防領域中至關重要，特別是近年來人工智能和自動駕駛領域的急速發展增加了全球投資者對這一行業的興趣。投資者正在尋求更多對於全球最大型半導體公司的投資機會。
在與德意志交易所旗下的指數編成公司ISS-STOXX合作下，歐交所開發了一個半導體指數，該指數涵括了有在美國交易所上市的30家全球最大半導體公司。這其中包括最近在該行業中最受歡迎的股票之一——輝達。該指數是以美元計價的價格回報指數，於最近剛剛推出。STOXX®半導體30指數期貨將全天候交易，從中歐時段1:00（香港/新加坡時間上午8:00）到中歐時段22:15，同時覆蓋美國至亞洲的完整交易日。
亞洲投資者表現出濃厚的興趣
歐交所執行董事兼董事會成員Randolf Roth表示：「近期全球市場的不確定性促使各國將安全生產和分配半導體作為優先事項。有見於此，我們推出了STOXX®半導體30指數期貨來回應半導體作為新興投資主題、並不斷增長的需求。我們特別注意到亞洲地區的需求明顯增加，因為台灣企業在該指數中有很好的代表性。」
