交易所参与者以及会员的主要要求如下：
每个交易所参与者以及会员都可以执行他们自己和客户的订单，并负责在线行权和持仓管理。每个交易所参与者以及会员都可以维护系统提供的其交易活动产生的付款和交付义务的概况。
交易所参与者以及会员可以按细分市场与不同的清算会员签订协议（例如Eurex、Eurex回购市场等）。此外，对于Eurex，交易所参与者以及会员最多可以与五个不同的清算会员建立关系，即多重清算关系（MCR），使交易所参与者以及会员可以与不同的清算会员清算不同的MCR产品组。交易所参与者以及会员可以灵活使用 “放弃/接受”功能将一个特定平台内的交易转移给另一参与者。
由于直接清算市场参与者与欧交所清算所（Eurex Clearing）没有直接的合约关系，因此交易实质上是在欧交所清算所与指定的清算会员之间进行，然后再由该清算会员与特定的交易所参与者以及会员进行交易。而且，保证金和费用是通过合约指定的清算会员向清算所进行支付。
